Save money and time with smart Home EV chargers from £1184.40 fully installed.
Installing an Electric Vehicle (EV) charger at home offers significant cost and time savings compared to relying on public charging stations. Home charging is typically much cheaper especially when paired with an EV-friendly electricity tariff that offers lower rates during off-peak hours.
Instead of paying premium prices at public charge points, you can charge your EV overnight at home for a fraction of the price.
Smart charging gives you more control over how and when your EV charges. It helps reduce costs, take advantage of tailored EV tariffs, and track your usage.
Many of the chargers we install are solar compatible, so you can power your vehicle using surplus energy from your solar panels. Others offer tariff integration which works directly with flexible energy plans to charge your car when electricity is at its cheapest.
With scheduling features, you can set your charger to run at specific times or ensure your car is ready when you need it and detailed usage reports allowing you to track your energy use efficiently.
Owning your own Home EV Charger has never been easier. Follow the below four steps, and we’ll be with you every step of the way.

We understand how some of the language around EV charging may be confusing. So to help, we’ve broken down some of the key ‘EV’ terms to help you make the most informed choice possible for your EV charger installation.
An Electric Vehicle (EV) is one that runs fully or partly on electricity, including: Battery Electric Vehicles (BEVs), Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicles (PHEVs) and Hybrid Electric Vehicles (HEVs).
A tethered EV charger is one which comes with a charging cable (the one that connects your car to the charger) attached to the unit.
An untethered EV charger has no fixed cable, allowing you to use a cable of your choosing such as the one that usually comes with your Electric Vehicle.
Since 2022, the UK government made it mandatory for all home and workplace EV chargers to have smart capabilities including:
Include smart features (remote access, data sharing)
Default to off-peak charging times
Support load balancing and grid protection
Have safety features like a randomised delay at start-up
The vast majority of EV’s sold within the UK use a ‘Type 2’ EV charger socket. If your EV is not a ‘Type 2’ then you would need to have an untethered EV charger installed to ensure compatibility with your EV.
Some EV chargers can be connected directly to your home’s solar panels, allowing you to charge your car using the free renewable energy you generate.
We have been in the electrical installation business since 2014 and possess years of extensive industry experience. In the last 12 months alone, we’ve installed over 2,000 EV chargers.
